Blackjack is one of the most popular card games in casinos worldwide, and Malaysia is no exception. The game's appeal lies in the fact that it isn't purely down to luck — the right strategy genuinely makes a difference to your outcome.
The objective of blackjack is straightforward: get a hand value closer to 21 than the dealer's without going over. Numbered cards are worth their face value, face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10, and an Ace can count as either 1 or 11 depending on your hand.
What sets blackjack apart from slots or roulette is its exceptionally high return-to-player (RTP) rate — reaching up to 99.5% when you apply the correct basic strategy. This means the house edge is remarkably slim, making blackjack one of the most player-friendly casino games if you know how to play it right.
At regal88, we offer a complete blackjack experience — from low-limit tables for beginners to VIP tables for seasoned players, all accessible directly from your phone or computer using a standard Malaysian internet connection.
Choose the table that best suits your style and budget
The original version of blackjack with standard rules. Suitable for both beginners and seasoned players. Dealer stands on Soft 17, and players may double down on any first two cards. Bet limits range from RM10 to RM2,000 per hand.
A fast-paced version of blackjack where all players make their decisions simultaneously as soon as the first card is dealt. Rounds wrap up in half the time of regular blackjack — perfect for players who thrive on quick action and high intensity.
There is no limit to the number of players at the same table. You play against the dealer without needing to wait for a free seat. Ideal during peak hours when other tables are full — your gaming experience is never disrupted at regal88.
Blackjack with a progressive jackpot element. Place a small side bet for a chance to win a major jackpot that accumulates across all tables. The highest jackpot ever recorded at regal88 reached RM180,000.
For players who value privacy and high betting limits. An exclusive table with a dedicated dealer, stakes up to RM50,000 per hand, and a calm, distraction-free environment. Access requires VIP Gold status or above at regal88.
A unique variant where the house covers the cost of doubling down and splitting on certain combinations at no extra charge. This gives players more opportunities to maximise winnings without additional risk — a firm favourite among regal88 players.

Navigate to the Live Casino section and select Blackjack. Choose a table based on your preferred bet limit — from RM10 for beginners to VIP tables for high-rollers at regal88.
Select your chip value and click the betting area on the table before the betting window closes. You can stack multiple chips to reach your desired total. Side bets such as Perfect Pairs are also available.
Use the Hit, Stand, Double, or Split buttons based on your hand. A natural Blackjack pays 3:2. Winnings are credited instantly to your regal88 account balance and can be withdrawn at any time.
Many new players assume blackjack is purely a game of luck. In reality, players who master basic strategy can reduce the house edge to below 0.5% — making it one of the best-value casino games available.
The first tip to keep in mind: always stand on 17 and above. Many new players make the mistake of hitting on 17, when the risk of busting (exceeding 21) is actually very high. If your hand totals 17 or more, standing is almost always the smarter move.
Second tip: double down wisely. A hand totalling 10 or 11 is the ideal time to double down, especially when the dealer's card is low (2 through 9). This maximises your winning potential when the odds are in your favour.
The third tip that's often overlooked is bankroll management. Set a loss limit before you start playing and stick to it. At regal88, you can set a daily limit directly from your account settings. Never chase losses by increasing your bets out of emotion — it's the most common trap that leads players to lose even more.
Finally, take advantage of regal88 bonuses and promotions wisely. Welcome bonuses, weekly cashback, and exclusive blackjack promotions can give you more playing capital without putting extra risk on your own money.
